Matrix of Measures Integrating Mitigation and Adaptation

This matrix is a tool to explore the various possibilities of mitigating climate change while at the same time adapting to climate variability and climate change on the local to provincial level. The measures focus on the three areas energy, construction, and spatial planning, which provide great potential for synergies. The more than 40 integration measures are assigned to three types of mitigation benefits (columns) and two to three types of adaptation benefits (rows). By clicking on a single measure one is directed to a more detailed description of the measure, pictures, internet links, and material for download.
